Every morning I get up, get my coffee and head to the computer to read the quilt blogs that I follow. Judy (http://www.patchworktimes.com) is the first. I have been following her for years.
It seems to me that no one reads my blog, I guess I do not advertise enough. That's O.K. I enjoy keeping track of my own life.
I Live on a street that is a dead end. My girl friend across the street Marilyn and I have found 4, that's right 4 four turtles going down our street. Well yesterday a girl came to the door and said she found a turtle cruising down her street and wanted to return it to me.. I told her to call the San Diego Turtle rescue. The turtles are getting ready to go to sleep for the winter and before they do that they like to go cruising.
It is so strange to see a 6" inch turtle just walking down the street.
I woke up this morning to thunder and lighting in casa del oro. I have not heard that for years. It has rained and the streets were all wet.
I have to get sewing so I'll be back later.

Thursday Sept 25, 2008
I am not a very good blogger, I get busy and just do not open the computer everyday as I should.
I have been sewing and taking care of my yard. It has not been so very hot outside so I have been able to spend more time outside. Today a guy is coming over to work in the yard and help me fix a few things.
I have also been taking an excel class at Cuyamaca Jr. college. that is going along and is fun, even if I do actually do have to study.
Gretchen should be back at school teaching next week, she had a knee done, after 7 weeks of being out she is finally beginning to feel better.
We cleaned the carpet at the shop and it looks great and very clean.
My furrie cats are loving life, as it is getting cooler and flea season is winding down.
So I'll leave you with a picture of my newest sew project and get ready for another busy day.

Hello,
Time or rather days just seem to fly by. Thursday was September 11.!!!!. You all remember that day. One of the worst days of the United States of America. The news Stations all had re runs of the accident, or rather is was not an accident. Everywhere you looked or went there were things going on to remember the people who died in the towers. We should always remember that and never let it Pass into History.
I attended a Margaret Millers class with the El Camino Quilt guild. I always say if I go to a class and can come away with only one thing I have learned I have won. I came away with about 10 things. I learned alot about color and how it works in quilts. That was the best.
I also learned how you may take one block and turn it and make so many other quilts with the same block. If you ever have a chance to take her class go for it.!!!
If that is not enough for one week, I also took in a 3-4 week old foster kitten, it was flee anemic.... but is doing wonderful. In fact I think Sammie is already been adopted.
So as usual my life is full. Just the way I like it.
I am off to the Village quilters quilt guild meeting on this fine saturday am.
Have a great quilting day.
