Last night Laurie Daniels came over for dinner and we went off to attend the Canyon Quilters guild meeting. Only thing is it was the wrong monday night, It meets the 3rd monday night of the month. We ended up over at the canyon quilters presidents house in University City, that is located north of La jolla. It was a great fun home. Her husband is a painter and of course she is a quilter, the entire home was decorated with so much neat stuff it was like being in a great museum. So many wonderful things to look at.
Everything looked as if it really belonged, It was a great treat.
Carrie is such a nice lady. Well we really had a great time and enjoyed a break for worries.
I cannot wait to get to know carrie better.

- I am retired and Live in East San Diego on a large plot of land. I am a quilter, a gardener and I foster cats and dogs.. The head of the furies, Taco, rules the roost!. There are now 2 small chihuahua dogs that were rescues. Taco was found at my vets 2 years ago(2006) in a basket with her cord still attached. The vet called me and asked if I would bottle feed Taco and that is the end of the story. She never left for adoption. All the cats get along well and play together. The other felines are: C Cat, cosmo, Lucy, and Polite Snowball. They know where the catnip is planted and never fail to to go roll in it. YES they are totally spoiled. It is a lot of work taking care of the animals, but the joy of them is overwhelming and so much fun. Recently I have planted 7 more fruit trees. Life is good.
